Body weight crushed our lungs
the first time we chased food
Out of water, 
But we kept trying;
Fresh air strengthened 
and fortified our bodies, 
Making stronger bones, 
Senses awakening;
We were everywhere 
on the Planet
where water met land;
Numbering in the Billions, 
We Swarmed Across Dry 
Land Seeking Food And Safety;

We Did Not Protect Our Young,
We Were Unaware Of Pain And Death
We Were Easy Prey Back Then
Spewed Eggs Everywhere
While Still in Amphibian Stage
Just Like Fish;
Voracious And Insatiable,
We Were Always Growing 
Stronger, Faster, Smarter,
We Were ASEXUAL...
We Were Ubiquitous;

IN THE MUD

Flourished In Massive Packs

Practicing Scorched Earth Already

While Gleaning The Ground Of Food;

Omnivorous; Voracious, Insatiable;

Cannibalistic, Our Meat 

Was No Different Than 

Any Other That We Ate,

Developed Community 

Safety in Numbers,

Friends Are Fun,

Hearing And Smell Developing,

Staying Clean, Watched Over

Each Other While We Slept;

Scurried Down Hastily Dug

Burrows When Under Attack, 

Dispersed And Scattered,

Became MAMMALS

Spewing Babies Everywhere,

After Splitting Off At the Rib,

Shell Dissipates Into Hair,

By the Time The Burrow Becomes A Den

We are Becoming Formidable, 

Defending Ourselves with Greater 

Numbers Attacking Predators 

With  Vicious Efficiency

Our Broods Are Noticeably Smaller,

Gestation Period Lengthening,

Territoriality Evolves As Need For Home Increases;
We Fed Anything That 
Was Bigger Than Us,
And Ate Everything Smaller...

IN THE DEN...

Hearing, Smell And Sight 

Becoming Fine-Tuned,

Becoming Intelligent;

Began to Associate Warning

Sounds with Subsequent Attacks,

Protected Each Others Kids

Life Becomes Precious...

Smaller And Smaller Litters, 

Longer And Longer Gestation Times;

Den Clusters Increases Comfort 

Of Community-Minded Individuals,

We Are Sharers; 

Tending to Favor Meat...

Voracious, Insatiable

Fortifying;

Cannibalized Sick 

And Injured 

And Dead;

Dens Littered With Bones

Single Occupancy Only 

We Merely Bumped In The Night; 
Driven By Survival
Every Human For Themselves, 
Survival Of The Fittest, 

Began Reaching For Food, 
Climbing Trees, Escaping 
Earth For Days; 
While Predators 
Invaded Our Dens
Ate Our Families And Our Friends;
We Just Kept Moving
Upward And Onward
Inland To The Forests;
Faster, Smarter, 
Stronger, Bigger, 
Ever Fortifying;
Broke Our Hearts 
To Leave Our Dens
Search For Home Continues...

The Tree People
Had Fire,

All The Time,

Moved Away From Caves
To Build Towns;
Put Crops In Rows,

Drew Massive Images 
On the Ground
Then Went Up In Balloons

Toward The Human World

Faith in Ourselves;

Back Of The Herd Feeders

From Community Animal

Who Lived in A World

Of Safety in Numbers

Dispersed By Never-ending Attacks

From the Rest of the World.

Cat, Dogs, Birds, Snakes, Insects,

And Continuous Natural Disasters

We Dug Deep Burrows to Gain Respite

From the Constant Attacks

But we Spewed Kids Everywhere

So Concern for Our Kids wasn't Developed

Till Later When Our Gestation Lengthened

And Our Litters Shrank

And Survival of Our Bloodlines Became Priority

But That Was Of The Cave,

After Fire Forced Us From The Trees,

Which Was Where We Would Escape To

When Our Den World Was Under Attack

By Pack hunters,

We Were Vicious Enough

And Still Community Enough

To Gang up on Single Attackers,

But Wolves And Lions

Chased Us Into The Tree World.

Fires Forced Us Out Of the Woods,

Some Of Us Brought Fire With Us

And Though Weakness

Caused some of us to protect our fire from others,

That It Wasn't A Commodity that Could be Shared (oops),

Faced Murder From Those Cave-Brained Killers

Who Couldn't Figure Out

How To Get Warm On Their Own

Killed Those With Fire,

Who Were Also The Best Hunters,

Who Quickly Figured It Out

And Took The Next Step

Towards Our Human world,

We Left The Cave Behind

And Moved out To Towns In Clearing

Where We Could See The Predator Coming,

And We Put Crops In The Ground

And Stood Side By Side

Protecting Our Children

And Our Revered Seniors

Behind Walls And Moats

While The Element That Had To Steal Fire

Sought To Enslave Half of the Best Hunters

Because they Attracted Predators Half of Their Adult Life

And The Coward Hardly had What It Takes To Protect Itself

And So Cave-brain Lost Half of Their Best Hunters

Causing a Malnutrition That Hindered Nature's Agenda

And Rendered The Element

Incapable of Catching AnyThing

Other Than The Back Of The Herd Stragglers

While Community Human Used Spatial-thinking

Channelled Herds Into Ambush,

And So Lived Off Of Healthy Meat

From the Front of the Herd.

Cave-brain was Doomed,

Half The Best Hunters Lost

And The Remaining Half Dibilitated

By Disease And Malnutrition

Had No Warrior Class, Hunter Class, No Crop Growers

Doomed To Death UnLess They Could Corral
The Energy of the Able-Bodied Spatial Thinker...
